Diagnostiek voor U
Diagnostiek voor U is a leading organisation with various locations for diagnostics, blood sampling, screening and monitoring. Diagnostiek voor U has a modern lab and occupies an important place in healthcare. In addition to laboratory tests, you can also go for X-rays, cardiac arrhythmia tests, radiological ultrasounds, pregnancy diagnostics and, for example, lung function tests.
Diagnostiek voor U is one of the leading medical diagnostic centres in the Netherlands. It has its head office in Eindhoven, more than 30 diagnostic locations, 130 blood collection locations and more than 500 employees. Diagnostiek voor U carries out almost 4 million laboratory analyses, more than 60,000 function tests, 30,000 ultrasounds and 15,000 X-rays for more than 600,000 visitors per year.
Diagnostiek voor U works together with medical and laboratory specialists who work according to the guidelines of the profession. These specialists participate in departmental visitations, such as by the Radiological Society of the Netherlands (NVvR), the Dutch Society for Medical Microbiology (NvMM) and the Dutch Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (NVKC). The quality assessment of departments tests the professional quality and responsibility of departments and consists of a peer review on location. Participation is mandatory for the re-registration of the specialist.

ISO 15189
The ISO 15189 accreditation is a specific laboratory accreditation. Accredited laboratories are required to participate in studies comparing test results from different laboratories. SAN
Diagnostiek voor U is a member of the Collaborative Doctors’ Laboratories Netherlands (SAN). The goals of the SAN include promoting expertise, quality, collaboration and knowledge transfer. The members of the SAN are medical diagnostic centres for general practitioners, midwives, hospitals, mental healthcare and nursing, care and home care institutions.

This guideline specifies requirements for a quality management system for the entire organisation. The certificate guarantees that Diagnostiek voor U is focused on putting customer requirements first and continuously working on improving all internal processes in order to increase customer satisfaction.
