Shipping

We ship with FedEx and UPS. Depending in your choice.. If you order through testalize.me, you don’t pay shipping costs. If you send the return box with your body material to our lab, you don’t have to pay either. The price you see on our site is all inclusive.

All orders are shipped discreetly. So from the outside, you can never see what is in the package. Also, the package does not bear a testalize.me logo or message.

To what countries?

We ship to 20 countries within the EU. To Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Easy ordering?

Order your test online. Add a product to the basket by clicking on the blue button that says ‘basket’. You will then land on the ‘basket’ page where you will see an overview of your order. It also says here that shipping is free. If everything is correct, you can proceed to the last step and enter your details and pay.

Expiry date

You do not have to use the test immediately after purchase, but keep in mind that the tests have an expiry date. You can find the date on the side of the sleeve. Store unused tests at room temperature and keep a test away from heating and the sun. We aim for a minimum shelf life of 6 months.

Which STD to test for?

If you are not sure which STD you should test for, use our test guide. It soon becomes clear which risk you have run and which test you need.

Reliability of the test

An STD test from testalize.me is just as reliable as that from a GP or GGD. This is partly because the analysis is performed by an ISO-15189-accredited GP laboratory. The results are authorised by a microbiologist. This guarantees the correct result. Read more about the quality of our STD tests.

The difference between a lab test and a home test lies in the reliability and the time it takes to generate the result. A lab test is much more reliable than a home test. It is not without reason that hospitals, GGDs and GPs work together with laboratories to get the most reliable results. Unlike the home test, where the result is known almost immediately, a lab test does not give you immediate results. Body material must first be analysed and only then the result follows. With testalize.me, this takes a maximum of 48 hours.

What will appear on my bank statement?

If you pay via Paypal or credit card, the bank statement will not show ‘testalize.me’, but ‘Openlab B.V.’

Returning your sample

With every order we deliver a sample collection box. You use this box to send your body material safely to the laboratory. You can simply arrange a pickup or drop it off at a UPC point. Depending your own preferences. You receive an e-mail from us with instructions.

How to check your results?

Within 48 hours, you can request the results of your STD test via testalize.me/uitslag/. You can also choose to receive the results by e-mail. To do this, go to testalize.me/uitslag-mailen/. Results are available online from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 22:00. You need your unique code to request the results. You can find this on the code card you received with your order. Keep your code card in a safe place!

You can request the results within 72 hours – after receipt in our laboratory – via https://testalize.me/eu/results/. Results are available online from Monday to Friday between 17:00 and 22:00.

Lost code card?

This is one of the few things we can’t help you with. You were the only one with that code and therefore the only one who could request your results. You cannot request the results without this code. You have to take another test.

Tested positive?

When you test positive, it means that an STD has been detected. You need treatment. Please visit your GP. See https://testalize.me/eu/treatment for more information.
